Ligia Lanni graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning and began her career in São Paulo, where she sought new challenges and experiences that broadened her professional vision. She specialized in Interior Design and Lighting Design, an area in which she found her true calling, combining aesthetics, functionality, and well-being.
In 2016, she moved to Vancouver in search of new opportunities and gained recognition working in her field of study. There, she also deepened her knowledge of Business Management and Marketing, broadening her strategic perspective beyond design.
His portfolio spans residential, commercial, institutional, hospital, and educational projects, including participation in large-scale developments such as the New Westminster Aquatic & Community Centre ($115M) and the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment ($2.4B). He has also gained recognition for the excellence of his work, having received awards from the IES Awards for the New West Aquatic Centre and Kabam Headquarters projects in Vancouver, for which he had an article published in the magazine.
With over 15 years of experience in architecture, construction, interior design, and lighting, Ligia now leads Lagosta Group with the purpose of creating unique, innovative, and memorable projects, transforming spaces into legacies.

Ligia
Thiago Pavanello is a civil engineer and project manager with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in leading high-impact operations in Canada and Brazil. Currently, he is the CEO of Lagosta Group in the USA, where he coordinates and organizes daily operations, develops resource schedules, investment programs with partners, monitors progress, and maintains detailed records to ensure the successful completion of projects.
His expertise ranges from large-scale residential buildings, such as the Oakridge Mall Development (CAD$160M), to innovative hospitals, such as the HC Criança de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP, R$12M). With a career marked by more than 30 projects, including 26-story towers, residential complexes, and concrete and structural steel works, he offers a solid commitment to quality, safety, and deadlines.
He worked as a Construction Superintendent, Civil Engineer, and Project Coordinator in partnerships with companies such as Turner Construction, Ellisdon, Tenda, Trisul, and TEP Engenharia, always ensuring accuracy in schedules, logistical control, and effective communication with teams and investors.

Architect and Urban Planner

Ligia M. Lanni Pavanello, Architect and Urban Planner, specializing in Interior Design and Lighting, has a career marked by innovation, aesthetic sensitivity, and technical expertise. She began her career in her hometown of Ribeirão Preto and then expanded her practice to São Paulo, where she sought new challenges for her professional career.
During her postgraduate studies in Interior Design and Lighting, she discovered her true calling: integrating aesthetics, functionality, and well-being through light.
In 2016, she moved to Vancouver in search of new opportunities and quickly gained a foothold in the Canadian market, working in her field of study and also deepening her knowledge in Business Management and Marketing, broadening her strategic perspective and strengthening her ability to lead more complex projects.
His portfolio encompasses residential, commercial, institutional, hospital, and educational projects, including large-scale developments such as high-end residences ($5M+), the New Westminster Aquatic & Community Centre ($115M), and the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment ($2.4B). His work has also received international recognition with IES awards for the New Westminster Aquatic Centre and Kabam Headquarters projects, for which he had an article published in LD+A magazine.
Ligia is associated with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), serves on the board of directors of Women In Lighting Design (WILD) in Vancouver, and has also conducted interviews and participated in initiatives for Women in Lighting (WIL), reinforcing her active role in the design and lighting community.
